West Estonian town Haapsalu is primarily known as a quiet summer resort and a place of curative mud. It is considered to be the sunniest resort in Estonia. In addition, as Haapsalu is over 700 years old, it belongs amongst the oldest towns in Estonia.

Visiting Haapsalu with children

Children are also awaited in Ilon's Wonderland, where they can listen to fairy-tales, do puppet show, explore Karlsson's room, peek into Tom Thumb's room, put on costumes, play adventure games and much more. Haapsalu is also popular for its playgrounds, where smaller children like to have fun. The biggest playgrounds are on the African beach and the children's park in the Haapsalu Episcopal castle.
